Ruth 3

The story of how Ruth, at the urging of her mother-in-law (the mother of her dead husband), convinces a member of her deceased father-in-law’s family that she is worthy to be his wife. She does this by curling up at his feet like a dog while he sleeps. Basically, if Ruth’s mother-in-law can convince one of her dead husband’s brothers to marry Ruth and have a child, then she will essentially have a child herself.
